48-HOUR NOTICE & $150 DEPOSIT
* Additional fee for procedures and/or if additional time is necessary more than the reserved 30 min appt time (if necessary, average cost of the most common procedures that do not require sutures ranges from $150 to $300).
- You only be evaluated by Dr. Chen, an MD Anderson Cancer Center fellowship-trained skin cancer and reconstructive surgeon/ board certified-dermatologist
- You will never be seen by a mid-level provider (ie. nurse practitioner, physician assistant, etc)
- We aim for on-time performance with minimal wait. Your appointment will never be double booked.
SELECT THE VISIT THAT BEST FIT YOUR NEEDS *
- A 15-MINUTE CONSULT to address a particular issue, such as mild acne, mild rash, medication refill, or to examine a few skin lesions.
- A 30-MINUTE CONSULT to conduct a thorough, head-to-toe skin exam and/or to address other issues such as moderate acne, moderate rash, new medication, removal of skin lesions, cosmetic concerns, and/or surgery procedure consultation.
- A 45-MINUTE CONSULT for detailed review of severe acne, severe rash, hair loss, skin cancer screening in patients with high skin cancer burden.
- A 60-MINUTE CONSULT for extensive discussion of complex medical history, second opinion, extensive skin cancer history, skin cancer screening in high risk patients with high skin cancer burden,
SAME-DAY PROCEDURE & SPECIALIST CONSULTATIONS AVAILABLE
- We know your time is precious. Our office understands how difficult it is to take time off from school and work. At Chen Skin & Cancer Surgery, same day procedure and consultation may be available.
- If you are interested in having the procedure performed on the same day as the consultation, please be sure to notify Dr. Chen and her staff of your preference (exceptions include large size, multiple locations, complex surgery, time permitting, etc). In order to accommodate your request, kindly send photos of the spot as Dr. Chen would like to get an idea of how large the skin lesion is so that the office can try to block enough time for the procedure if necessary.
- Some patients prefer separate appointments with the consultation visit first and surgery on a separate day.
48-HOUR NOTICE & $150 DEPOSIT
- Your deposit will be applied to in-office consultation and procedure fees.
- Credit card will be charged $150 to reserve your appointment.
- Refunds will be issued if patients provide at least 48-hours notice to modify their reserved appointment (ie. cancel, reschedule)
- Deposit will be forfeited if patients no-show and/or provide less than 48-hours notice to modify their reserved appointment. No exceptions will be made.
